These isolators are recommended for equipment positioned near critically quiet areas and where seismic performance is required. Each unit features a steel housing with a spring in series and a neoprene base pad to restrict lateral and vertical movement during an earthquake.
Depending on load or seismic requirements, an additional steel load-spreader plate is used to distribute forces into the supporting structure. A neoprene pad mounted in series with the spring enhances high-frequency vibration isolation, and equipment is secured using a downward-fastened bolt through the base.
