Model SHAB spring hangers feature free-standing, laterally stable steel springs with a molded elastomeric element, all assembled into a stamped and welded hanger bracket. The zinc-plated brackets incorporate color-coded spring elements, and each spring provides a minimum lateral stiffness equal to 1.0 times its rated vertical stiffness to ensure stability.
The hanger brackets can withstand a 500% overload without failure. Spring hangers are available in deflections from 13–25 mm (0.5” to 1”) and in load capacities from 7–32 kilograms (15 to 71 lb).
